TECA-Canada Announces Sarah Kuch as 2024–2025 Lt. Gen. Bior-Asuod Award Recipient

Bior-Asuod Award for the 2024–2025 period. The award was officially presented during TECA-Canada’s Anniversary Celebration and Fundraising Event held on August 2, 2025, in Edmonton, Alberta.

August 2, 2025 – Edmonton, Alberta The Twic East Community Association-Canada (TECA-Canada) is proud to announce that Sarah Gop Machar Kuch has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious Lt. Gen. Bior-Asuod Award for the 2024–2025 period. The award was officially presented during TECA-Canada’s Anniversary Celebration and Fundraising Event held on August 2, 2025, in Edmonton. The Lt. Gen. Bior-Asuod Award is one of TECA-Canada’s highest recognitions, designed to honor outstanding individuals within the Twic East community who demonstrate exemplary leadership, commitment to education, and a strong dedication to uplifting others through community engagement and charitable service. Sarah Kuch’s selection reflects her ongoing contributions to youth empowerment, education advocacy, and her unwavering support for community development initiatives. As a passionate advocate and role model, she has continuously worked to inspire the next generation of Twic East youth through her actions, mentorship, and educational pursuits. Each year, up to a maximum of five recipients are selected based on their contribution to education, volunteerism, youth mentorship, and cultural preservation.
