A Decade of Community Impact
For over a decade, the Twic East Community Association in Canada has been a beacon of hope, support, and empowerment in our community.
What began as a small community gathering in 2010 to provide social and cultural support to its members has grown into a dynamic, multi-faceted community organization dedicated to uplifting underprivileged individuals and families. Throughout our journey, we have remained steadfast in our mission to improve lives through education, cultural enrichment, and community-building services.
Our story is one of resilience and transformation. In the early years, we focused primarily on providing educational support to youth, offering tutoring, mentorship, and skills development. As our community's needs evolved, so did we. Our programs expanded to include cultural and social services that celebrate diversity, create connections, and foster a keen sense of belonging for people from all levels of society.
Building community through shared purpose
We have undergone several leadership changes and even a name change, but our core values have always remained the same—compassion, inclusivity, and a commitment to community. Each phase of our growth has been marked by a deepened dedication to those we serve, ensuring that our programs are accessible, effective, and responsive to the changing needs of the underprivileged communities we aim to help.

Organization Foundation
TECA-Canada was officially established with its first elected leadership, creating a foundation to serve and unite community members in Canada.
Second Leadership
A new leadership team was elected, bringing fresh ideas and renewed commitment to strengthening our community bonds and expanding outreach initiatives.
First Community & Youth Programs
Launched our first official community program and youth mentorship initiative, establishing the foundation for our educational support services.
Third Leadership
The third leadership team took office, focusing on expanding cultural programs and strengthening community connections through innovative outreach methods.
Fourth Leadership
Our current leadership team began their tenure with a vision for modernization, digital transformation, and expanded community services.
Youth Awards & Scholarships
Established a comprehensive youth awards and scholarship program to recognize excellence and support the educational advancement of our community's young members.
Community Fundraiser
Launched our most successful community fundraiser to date, raising significant funds to support expanded programming and outreach initiatives.
Our Vision for Tomorrow
Through the years, we have helped countless individuals overcome obstacles, gain valuable life skills, and find support in their educational and cultural pursuits.
